749 Note is a mentalism system designed to help you quickly identify the target paper ball. Created by K. Pen, it keeps a low-profile, understated appearance. To the audience, it looks like an ordinary notepad, while quietly adding flexibility to your routines.

At a gathering with friends, ask one participant to write something on a slip of paper. Then invite 2 to 4 more participants to write different things on their own slips to create confusion. Crumple all five slips into paper balls and shuffle them thoroughly. Even under everyone's watchful eyes, you can accurately identify the paper ball written by the first participant.

749 Note also pairs well with other methods. Whether you work with peeks, cold reading, or forces, it can fit naturally into your routine.

From the audience's perspective, the writing is random and the shuffling is casual, with no obvious trace of method. When it is not in use for performance, it simply looks like an ordinary notepad for everyday notes and messages.
