Effect: You show a length of rope being passed through a plastic block. You say that the plastic block has sharp blades hidden in it and to prove your point you slide the block and show that the rope has been cut. You then slide the block back into position and the rope magically restores itself. The rope can be passed out for examination before and after the effect.
