The magician displays a four of a kind. For example the four aces and it is explained that the cards have magical properties. With this, one of the aces turns face down! This is repeated with the other four aces. Then, the backs of the cards change from blue to red. The magician then offers to perform the trick using only three cards and places one in his pocket. Magically, it jumps to join the other four.
For the finale the backs of all four cards change to completely different designs and colours.
