In the absence of this year's South Tyneside International Magic Festival, Magicbox have organized 6 of the UK`s TOP magicians to offer their lectures right here in the Magicbox mini theatre.

What will he teach?

The S.M Principle This is a secret weapon you can add to any deck of cards to allow you to perform several incredible colour changing affects with a signed playing card. A Sweet Prediction After tipping some wrongly predicted candy from its packet, you magically change the remaining contents to their chosen candy. The best part is, it happens in their hand! Mystique This is a colour changing deck like no other! A multi-phase visual piece of magic you have to see to believe.

It's Your Turn This is Dave's Favourite impromptu piece of magic where the spectator performs the torn and restored napkin trick however. All is not as it seems!

Borrowed Credit A pack-small play-big roulette routine with a borrowed bank card. Quick and Visual This is a quick and visual two card transposition.

Plus Much More! In this lecture, Dave Loosley will take you through the tried and tested routines used hundreds of times in the real world. Dave’s magic is easy to perform, very visual to watch and always creative. You are going to learn some incredible magic with sweets, cards, napkins and rubber bands. This lecture will be crammed with great information including the creative process Dave goes through when inventing his unique style of magic and a lot of fun and laughter along the way. Who is he? Dave Loosley is a multi-award winning magician from the U.K. He has been performing magic for the past 16 years and is an Associate member of the Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star. Dave is known for his unique creations and presentation style. His first magic product, Squash, was a hit amongst the working magicians.

Since then he has continued to release practical, hard hitting magic including his incredible Colour Changing Deck Routine “Mystique". And, more recently, his sell out effect at the Blackpool magic convention, “Inflexion". Dave’s unique style and engaging personality has allowed him to become established in the UK magic scene, and now it’s time for him to come to us

Tom Crosbie is probably best known to the magic community for his outstanding Rubik’s Cube magic, but Tom is also a fantastic creator, performer, memory deck expert, and sleight of hand magician.

Tom’s Edinburgh shows are a constant sell-out receiving 5-star reviews across the board. In 2019 he was booked to perform his full one-hour show at the Blackpool Magic Convention, the largest magic convention in the world.

Tom has released a number of instructional videos including “Recall”, “8-bit Coin Magic” and “The Marvellous Pencyclopedia” all to great critical acclaim.

This is certainly not a lecture to be missed!

Joel Dickinson

Joel will be sharing brand new routines developed in his magic studio, Northern Miracles, located in the heart of Newcastle. You will learn a large array of magic, including hard hitting & unreleased effects that have never been seen by magicians.

Every piece is a worker and has been worked close up, on stage and online.

Float; Watch in awe as a ball levitates, animates and comes to life. This is reputation making magic, developed over lockdown 2020. See it here first.

Dirty; the dirtiest card to impossible location you will see and the method makes it fun to perform.

Ripple effect ; This card routine plays out unlike any other and contains multiple kicks that will please your magical minds.
