Known as ‘The King of Cards’, Houdini dropped his cards before a special performance. Seeing this, the press jumped at a big story and took a picture of the cards all over the stage floor.
A picture, Houdini carried with him for the rest of his days. At any opportunity, Houdini performed a card trick using the picture of the cards.
