Description
The magician hands his/her diary to a spectator for safekeeping.
He/she then removes a stack of two dozen greetings cards each of which displays a different occasion. It is further noted that the covers of these cards have been separated from their inside portions giving a random assortment of names and occasions.
The spectator is asked to name any date and are further instructed to select both a front and back portion of a card. The two selected halves are then pieced together to form one of roughly 600 possible combinations.
They then open the diary to check the entry against their selected date. Amazingly both the selected name and occasion match that which is written against this date!
